BBQ Stakes #119...

conditions were perfect for BBQ Stakes...finally my handicap had been adjusted (from 18:15 to 17:15) but I still started late (off 17:45)...

once again Carolyne took a massive tumble around the 2.2k mark, in almost the spot as a fortnight ago...this time it was both knees but she saved her elbow...I've suggested knee and elbow pads! (or bubblewrap!)

even felt some bounce in my stride which was reflected in another post-surgery PB, 31secs off the old one...finished 43rd...

start temp/humidity: 17.4/62% (apparent temp 16.0)

total distance: 6.05
total time: 36:43
avg pace: 6:04
total calories: 460

the police were doing an intersection blitz on pedestrians just outside my work (cnr of Northbourne and Alinga) so I went and chatted to Tammie for about 10-15mins...pedestrians walking, & cyclists riding, against red and cyclists not wearing helmets all copped a talking to!
