speaking of the BRunner...this message was posted on the FB group by Steve yesterday:

Dear Brunners,

We have closed the business and are no longer trading as of today.

Why

We have just discovered that we had again been cheated by a Chinese supplier. We had a similar thing happen after the Kickstarter campaign and we paid for new moulds and took the previous supplier to court – we won and were awarded compensation, but they simply took it to a higher Chinese court and it is still ongoing 2.5 years later.

We are no longer able to manufacture, so we have taken the extremely tough decision and closed the company. We are devastated.

Carol and I have personally funded the company for the past 7 years, and have never drawn a wage or taken a cent from the company. We have had ongoing problems with Chinese suppliers and have been cheated out of an enormous amount of money over the past 3 years.

Thanks

Thank you all for being such loyal supporters and champions of the Bionic Runner community and brand. You helped us launch and improve the worlds best non-impact running device. Customers like you in 35 countries are BRunning daily, and 100’s billions of lbs of impact have been eliminated from thousands of runners lives.

Parts

Most of the parts you may need for your Bionic Runner are common bicycle parts and are available from bike shops. There are some parts like the rollers and some axles that are custom. We are organising for someone else to sell these in future so they are available to you all.

Thanks for your understanding, this is a very sad and frustrating decision to make, and it wasn’t made lightly.

Best regards
Steve and Carol
