managed to play solid round of 87 with eight pars, seven bogeys, two doubles and one triple...had 32 putts with 2 3-putts...
net 74 was enough to win both the day comp (by 1 shot) AND the Medal of Medals (by 3 shots, only open to players who had won a monthly medal during the year)
I walked the boys later on in the afternoon after doing some cache maintenance for Suze...
too lazy to walk the boys before work today...I also caught the bus instead of riding...
arrived at BBQ Stakes to find my handicap eased to 20:15 from 21:00 which meant the gap was "only" 14:00...was a struggle as my legs were still sore from Sunday but I caught the rabbit at the Lyons shops overpass and trotted on to victory...I did contemplate stopping and walking with her but then there would have been a mad sprint to the finish...
