parkrun #109, 1st round of Club Championships...

yesterday wasn't as windy as last Friday...I went down early to FkF to hold the clock...there was a slight westerly at the start but about 20mins in it turned into a stronger easterly...so much so that we had a refreshing shower at the finish...!

it was surprisingly breezy at parkrun this morning for International parkrun Day, 13 years since the first parkrun...

a headwind on the way out to the footbridge then back from the turn, it was another slow one...

it was the first round of the Club Championship and amazingly I'm atop the leaderboard with a 2 shot lead...

it wasn't the prettiest round for me but somehow I shot 45/16 putts on the front and 40/13 putts on the back to finish with 85, one better than my handicap...

Tammie's front 9 wasn't the best (55) but she had a much better back 9 (46)...
