A boat and parkrun #92...

On Friday Tammie picked me up after I had sent out the results for FkF at about 1:45pm...

we headed to Wagga to have a look at some boats as Tammie was keen to get another one having sold her other one not long before she headed to Christmas Island last July...

there was one secondhand she really liked but we headed off to look at another place which turned out to do custom fits etc which wasn't what she wanted...we started to head towards Wodonga but then we decided to head back and ask more questions...in the end it included everything she wanted and she managed to get them to knock the price down...looks like she will be driving back during the week to get it!

after all that we arrived at out hotel at about 7:30pm and headed out to dinner at the Commercial...

yesterday I was up and about to do the Albury Wodonga parkrun...it was sunny but fresh with some low lying fog about...there was some hot air balloons up as well...

the first timers/newcomers briefing was held at about 5 to with the run director using a whistle to get everyone's attention...for the first time I experienced a parkrun with a lead cyclist...the RD did a countdown and then we were off...

the course was an out and back along the river with two small bridges to cross plus we crossed over the river to actually run in two states...the start was quite congested as the course narrowed after about 100ms or so...

it was quite a pleasant run, not quite as flat as Tuggeranong but fast enough...

this morning we had breakfast with Tammie's parents before dropping in on mum and dad...
