squiggle ran her third parkrun (Tammie drove her there) and her first solo one...50:08, 289th/317, 139th female/150, 9th JW11-14/10...

had a break before heading to Hackett for my 5th game with Barton 5th grade, we were playing the Wood Ducks who were 4th on the ladder (we are 3rd) and had beaten us earlier in the season (I didn't play that game)...

we won the toss and batted first with the captain opting to bat me at 3...we made a steady start before our skipper was dismissed via a good catch forward of point, 1/28...out I went and back I came, given out LBW first ball...I played forward to an inswing bowler, looking to turn it behind square and was struck on the legside of my pad...hmmm...

we progressed to 3/47 off 15 at drinks....then 4/93 off 30 at the second drinks...we accelerated in the last 15 to finish with 6/189 courtesy of 67no from our 'keeper and leading runscorer...

the Wood Ducks made a similar start and were 3/48 in the 15th at first drinks...I had two catches dropped off my bowling after coming on first change...took a running catch moving to my left at mid off...

at the second drinks break the Wood Ducks again matched our start with 5/94 off 30...fortunately we tied them down after that to end up winning by 36, taking the last wicket off the last ball...I bowled my 9 overs straight for 31 with 3 maidens...

I picked up dinner on the way home (we finished at 7!) so we could watch the Hurricanes final match of the season (we recorded it because it started at 4)...

this morning I did an easy 80 before it got too warm...managed to trip but stay on my feet about 4.5k in...hurt my right glute/high hammie (same area I hurt at indoor cricket last year) but managed to continue on...

after shower and breakfast, I made two batches of brownies for Tammie to take back to Christmas Island - she returns on Tuesday (via Perth tomorrow) and will be there until early May...
