street O @ Jerrabomberra North...

yesterday was Hodge's birthday and we were out nice and early for his walk...

bused in to work with street O across the border in Jerrabomberra (North)...a new map for street O...

Tammie was out of action with a troublesome knee while Jodie was back after missing last week with work...

it was a hilly looking course and I had no intention of having a crack at the A course (18 out of 20) controls but for some reason, once we started, I thought bugger it!

the stats:
start temp/humidity: 23.3/43% (apparent temp same)
start time: 6:15pm
total distance: 9.12
total time: 52:20 (official 52:41)
avg pace: 5:44
total calories: 688
avg HR: 145
recovery HR: 121/38

order was 9 - 20 - 18 - 17 - 15 - 13 - 12 - 14 - 19 - 10 - 8 - 7 - 5 - 4 - 3 - 2 - 1 - 6 - F...it turns out I went almost the same way as the fastest male - he visited 6 between 5 & 4...

there was plenty of off-road stuff for Jodie to negotiate so it was a good workout for her as well...at one point I had to wait at the turn down to #2 as she had to push the bike up a steep rocky hill and had lost sight of me!

a very late start this morning to walk Hodge then ride into work...had a slight headwind but a relatively stop-free ride...

the stats:
start temp/humidity: 15.2/78% (apparent temp same)
start time: 8:48am
total distance: 16.60
total time: 37:28 (including 0:20 stopped time)
avg speed: 26.6kph
total calories: 284

my calves are feeling a bit tight so it will be interesting to see how my lunchtime run goes...
