parkrun #24...

gave myself an early mark yesterday from work and had a slow ride home...it's been a long week...

had a nice dinner at Hogs Breath...

this morning conditions were muggy for parkrun...this was #24 (#22 @ Tuggeranong)...

basically I tried to keep Thomo in his brightly coloured (watermelon?!) shirt within reach...had a good tussle with a young girl over the last 800m, her young legs got me in the end...if I'd managed to stay ahead of her I would have broken 22:00...still, I managed to run my third parkrun PB in a row...

33rd out of 220, age 72.39%...4th female out of 110...1st W45-49 out of 19...

golf was a different story...I didn't get off to a good start and didn't even have my first par until the 12th (I ended up with 4)...I dropped from 2nd to equal 4th...Suze has a lead of 14 which is the same margin she had going in to the final round last year only to crash and burn...she ended up winning a two hole play-off...I doubt she will need to do that this year...

I took the boys for a walk in the rain later on in the afternoon before Jodie and Lisa came over for a BBQ and to watch Star Wars III: Return of the Sith...

hopefully I can get my act together for a good round tomorrow and maybe have a chance at finishing second (or should that be third with daylight second behind Suze?!)...
