Saturday was a busy day...first off, Hodge was making his parkrun debut...I think I counted seven dogs all up and he was 2nd across the line (1st border collie)......it's the first time he's run that far on lead without having to stop for road crossings etc...that's faster than we've run together before so he must have enjoyed it!
the stats:
start temp/humidity: 4.2/74% (apparent temp 0.8)
start time: 8:02am
total distance: 5.02
total time: 27:34
avg pace: 5:30
total calories: 384
avg HR: 159
recovery HR: 120/47
splits: 5:51, 5:26, 5:19, 5:28, 5:25, 0:05
the first k split includes the 25secs it took to cross the line as I made sure we started at the back...
75th out of 169, age 57.62%...21st female out of 83...7th VW45-49 out of 13...five unknowns ahead of me this week...
next was golf (stableford)...ordinary golf...managed to score 24pts...36 is to handicap, oops...
from golf I was off to Kingston Oval to fill in for the Gungahlin Jets v Eastlake at 4:30pm...all up they had 6 fill-ins including myself and another out of retirement, one of the juniors plus three rugby players who had come straight from their game...needless to say we got pumped 127-0...
I copped an accidental whack to the jaw from Kristen Veal in the first quarter and later in the third quarter I landed on my left knee on the cheese grater (aka the centre wicket) which caused me grief much later in the night...
yesterday, with the help of Jodie as I was somewhat limited by my knee, we moved the old lounge suite out (one chair to storage and the couch to Tammie's mum) so we could pick up our new suite from Fantastic Furniture which we'd ordered on 21 June - it was meant to take 6-8 weeks to be ready...instead it was ready inside 4!
I also called in to mum & dad's to borrow a proper camera as I'm the photographer for parkrun on Saturday...
walked Hodge this morning and planning to do street O after work with Jodie at Watson....not sure what pace we'll be doing though!
