took Hodge for his walk then bused to work...
after work, Jodie gave Hodge and I a lift to dog school then Suze gave us a lift home...Hodge was back to his airhead self so it wasn't a good session!
Friday...was hoping for some good news on the knee front but had to keep it straight until my next appointment on Monday afternoon...very frustrating!
Saturday I took Hodge and Hunter on our long walk...wore the brace...
played golf in the brace as well, managed 86 off the stick to finish with 35pts which was enough to win a ball...Tammie had 90/39pts to finish second and equal her best score off the stick...
did a couple of caches after golf before heading over to Jodie's to help her put together her outdoor table and have dinner...
I used my new toy (Garmin VIRB) to make a timelapse video as we put the table together...
Sunday walked Hodge before Jodie took me out for the day - we went shopping for some outdoor stuff Jodie needed at Burning Log and Masters and did some caching as well before heading to Phillip Ice Rink so Jodie could play broomball (her team won 3-0) then it was back home for me...
this morning I was too lazy to walk Hodge (Tammie took both Hunter and Hodge out during the day)...
at lunchtime I picked up my ring ($30) which almost looks like new as well my bike...
had my next doctor's appointment and she pronounced herself happy with the progress and said I didn't need to come again unless an infection or something else cropped up...woo hoo!
I don't have to wear the crepe bandage any more (which is just as well as I have a bandage tan!) but the wound is still covered in steri strips and opsite for the next week or so...
I'm allowed to bend it slightly but not enough to drive a manual yet, lucky Jodie said I can hang on to her car for my trip to Wagga on Sunday through to Wednesday to online score the Sheffield Shield match between NSW and VIC...once the wound is completely closed I guess I can ease into my normal activity...
my elbow is gradually improving too...
taking everything into account, my run in with Skippy has cost me about $550...
