Friday, walked Hodge then headed off to Manuka to score the ACT Comets v Afghanistan one dayer...an ICC World Cup warm up match...

the Comets batted first and were all out for 266 in the 49th over...Afghanistan were slow to start but ended up winning with 3 wickets and 4 balls to spare...some massive sixes from both sides....a very entertaining game...

had dinner at Hogs Breath then went to the late session of Guardians of the Galaxy...very enjoyable...

yesterday I did Tuggeranong Parkrun to make up for missing FkF...was a lovely morning for it...ended up with 24:54 which was a surprise given my recent lack of running and lack of pace when I had run...a W45 PB, 62nd out of 233...I think running in a bunch made me run faster without realising it...Ewen reeled me in with about a k to go...

golf was stableford - I started well with 18pts on the front but struggled for the next 4 holes before recovering over the last 5 to finish with 31pts...alas it wasn't enough to win a ball...

watched the second half of the AFL Grand Final...how well did the Hawks play?!...that margin and probably that result was unexpected...

washed my car in preparation for today's trip to Sydney before watching the NRL semi...

this morning I took Hodge on his long walk in the reverse direction...saw a handful of the Sri Chinmoy 101k runners heading up the track behind Kambah to go over Cooleman Ridge....it's going to be quite warm for them...

we'll be heading off to Sydney about lunchtime as we are taking squiggle to Taronga Zoo for the Roar & Snore experience as her belated 10th birthday present...she thinks we are just going to the zoo for the day tomorrow...should be fun....

Congrats on the W45 PB. You made a good target in the orange shirt - I would have run slower if you weren't there. Not sure if that's good or bad!
