10k time trial & long...Day 118 & 119 of 133

yesterday I did my 10k time trial on the Sri Chinmoy course...Jodie ended up keeping me company to make up for her absence on Sunday...we crossed paths with a cycling Cookie...

the weather was weird with the fog quite thick between the ferry terminal and Black Mountain Peninsula then bright sunshine from there to the turnaround then back into the fog again when reaching BMP...

was disappointed with the time as I thought I was running a bit quicker than that but I guess trying to race without other runners makes it hard...

my golf was pretty ordinary but at least the rest of the field was just as bad as I still managed to win a ball...I had 91/nett 80 which worked out, with the daily scratching rating in place, to only be 4 over my handicap...

after golf we took Hodge and Hunter to the dog park for an hour...

this morning I did my longest solo training run...I parked near the yacht club and headed off towards the wetlands...there were heaps of people fishing due to some carp fishing competition...this time it was foggy the whole way...

pennant golf was at Royal Canberra...I was playing much better than yesterday and was 3up after 9 when the siren sounded to discontinue play due to lightning...two others in the team were leading as well so it was disappointing when play was abandoned for the day about an hour later...we now have to replay this round next Sunday (this round had already been re-scheduled from earlier in the season)...

I headed off to Murrumbidgee GC to watch the end of our Brindabella team's semi final v Capital...they also had a rain delay but were only off for about 15mins...they won 4/1 and will play Goulburn in the final at Gold Creek next week...
