this week I’ve been busy finishing off my move…no gym sessions as I figured all the lifting etc involved in moving would more than compensate!

Tuesday saw another visit to Harrison after work to load up most of what was left…

Wednesday was a day off work to build a shed and to continue the unpacking…

yesterday I got back on the bike for the first time since last Thursday…another visit to Harrison to collect some pictures and my indoor plants then it was off to mum & dad’s to drop off some stuff they had lent me for the move as well as a copy of Tim & Erin’s itinerary for their trip to Viet Nam (they headed off last night)…

today saw a very zippy ride into work…I was hoping that it was a good omen for FkF but I think the fact I hadn’t run since Saturday was against me…

a turnout for FkF…Rick Hatcher , CJs legend, was in town to continue his streak of doing every Canberra Times Fun Run…speedygeoff was there too…I think close to 30 all up…

the handicaps had been adjusted to cater for the harder course so I was starting off 13:15 instead of 14:00…I started off OK but was feeling heavy in the legs so happy to get around in 23:40…

this run ranks as 134th out of 253 overall (average time 23:42) and as 19th out of 57 for the Floriade course (avg time 24:07)

gave myself a little early mark today…

this weekend is pretty full:

• Saturday – pick up trailer from Harrison, take to rubbish to tip then drop trailer off at mum & dad’s on the way to golf (10:38am tee-off)…
• Sunday – inaugural Capital Run 14k (8am), watch Jodie’s soccer semi-final at O’Connor Enclosed (10am), watch ACTWAFL Grand Final at Greenway (12pm)…

I am officially out of Harrison on Monday when I hand over the keys…
