it was a hard game but our last quarter cost us as we were kept scoreless and our timekeeper apparently let the quarter run long - long enough for Belconnen to kick two goals and win the game...the final score was 3.3-21 to 4.7-31...a pretty disappoiting result if we want to take part in the finals series this year...we have two weeks off now then play Belconnen again which must surely be a must win game for us...
Sunday was golf day, my first round for two weeks...the round started in fog and the sun didn't really appear until the 10th otherwise conditions were nice if a little cool...I managed to play one over my handicap however, I lost a flagged round of 12 so my handicap has gone out one to 14 (13.7)...
yesterday went caching which involved some 4WDing (not by me!) out in Pierces Forest and the Bullen Range...all good fun, set a new PB for most cache finds in a day with 44...
skipped footy training as I felt I needed a break (I did let the coach know mid-afternoon)...more a mental break than anything as I've been a bit frustrated over the past couple of weeks with how the team is playing...figured now was a good a time as any to take a break seeing as we don't play again until 29 June...
this morning it was back on the bike in cool conditions...
had a meeting at lunch which prevented me from going to the gym - I'm now the treasurer of the "Customs Joggers Group Canberra"...!
