Bridgeclimb...

Saturday's golf was a little better but I was still 5 over my handicap...off to softball next, the Classics ended up playing a friendly as the opposition had to forfeit due to playing two A grade players...Classics won convincingly anyway...next week is the semis and they, as the first placed team, play Sutherland (4th)...

yesterday's long run was done in pleasant conditions...

did a couple of caches on the trip to Sydney, checking in at about 2:20pm...mum & dad arrived about an hour or so later...

we headed off to the Bridgeclimb around 4:30pm, arriving with 30mins to spare so we could have a look around the bridge exhibition...

the pre-climb safety instruction and kitting out took about 45 minutes and then we were off...our tour leader, John, was excellent with lots of funny anecdotes...mum took her time and successfully negotiated every aspect of the climb, something she had been looking forward to doing for a long time...

the bonus in doing the Twilight climb is that we were on the bridge from daylight through to darkness...

we finished the climb at 9:15pm and caught a taxi back to the hotel...

this morning I returned to the Bridgeclimb to buy some souvenirs as the shop had closed by the time we finished, returning to Canberra just after 3...

footy training was still on although with lower numbers (14)...
