despite starting in drizzly conditions and having two from my group pull out (Suze being one of them the wuss!), I managed to have a good round...I finished with 88 off the stick which is only two over my handicap menaing I get at least two more games playing off 12...I got a birdie on the 11th...
back home to drop off some gear, I found Tim working on the dining table he is making...he's been using my garage for just over a week...I helped him flip the top over (it's very heavy) before heading on to Manuka...
despite all the rain in the lead up, it was perfect conditions for the match and the game got underway on time...it was a high scoring affair with sixes getting hit left, right and centre...the lights were great...the match finished around 10:15pm with the PM's XI winning by 23 runs and Tasmanian James Faulkner winning player of the match with an unbeaten 44 off 28 balls and taking 4/54...next week's one dayer should be a belter!
I have one of the best views at the ground and I took some shots with my iPad throughout the match..
