Another win...

Friday

rode to gym - COLD!!
gym
rode to work

physio - "stiff ankle due to compressing it"...have some exercises to do to free it up...better to use heat for it than ice...

rode home

Suze came over for our regular fish & chips with Dexter night...we are up to season 4...

Saturday

golf - monthly medal (stroke); started well but three holes cost me in the end as I finished 5 over my handicap...

Sunday

footy v ADFA

we won 13.12-90 to 1.3-9...our highest score ever but we really should have reached triple figures...

I started at centre half forward...had a couple of long shots (2 behinds) and a couple of goal assists...copped a smack in the mouth early on (split lip) and had my legs taken out in a forward ruck contest ("tunneling") where I landed flat on my back...back was a bit sore last night but seems OK today...we kicked 5.6

2nd quarter was pretty average, got switched back into the ruck due to an injury (not mine)...we kicked 2.2...

3rd quarter started at full forward...plenty of running, kicked 1.1...the goal was from a mark where I quickly played on to an open goal...the behind was soccered off the ground...I also kicked one out of bounds on the full from a snap around the corner (oops)...we kicked 5.2...ADFA kicked 0.3...we had a few of our senior players off at the same time at this stage...

back into the ruck for the last quarter...we kicked 1.2, they kicked 1.0...

we've got three hard matches left to finish the season - Ainslie (away), Belconnen (home) and Riverina (away)...we are two wins outside the top 4, currently equal 5th with Belconnen, 6th on %...Belconnen does have a game in hand though...

today

rode to gym in the fog, not that cold but quite damp with all the moisture in the air...

rode to work

almost 90% decided that I won't be running C2S this year...I have physio tomorrow...

I'll see how another 70min run at lunch goes afterwards...but I don't fancy running with my ankle not 100%...
