Saturday
playing off my new handicap of 17 I managed 36pts which was playing exactly to 17...under the new system (average of best 10 from last 20 x 0.96) my exact handicap dropped from 17.4 to 16.6 but remains at 17 due to rounding...
bought a new mouth guard on the way home (in club colours!) after being unable to find my other one - better to have two than none (if I ever find the other one)...
much later I picked up Jodie & Suze from the airport...ACT's last two games were on Friday and they had two more losses (5-17 to QLD and 9-10 to Victoria White)...
I had a very late night as I was doing the online scoring for Rd 3 of the Masters - basically entering the hole-by-hole scores for the first 8 pairs into the online database...that was 12:45am until 6am Sunday morning so I only got 2.5hrs sleep before footy! (I did 7 groups of 3 for Round 1 on Thursday night - that was 10pm to 4am!)...
Sunday
we had two matches to play in the NAB Pre-season Challenge...we played at the ADFA oval off Addison Rd...it was pretty windy...
we lost 3.4-22 to 0.0-0 to Tuggeranong and then probably double that (edit: more than double! 10.4-64 to 0.0-0) to Eastlake (eventual winners)...these are two of the stronger sides so we were pretty happy with our performance despite the scorelines...I was pretty pleased with how I went, got quite a few touches and covered heaps of ground to get to all of the ruck contests...
most of us then headed back to Amaroo to watch the Jets play their first game in Div 2...they went down by 24pts to Belconnen in even windier conditions...

Do you wear the garmin during play and know how far you ran. ??
No, she doesn't wear a Garmin playing footy, but does wear a mouth guard playing golf. Very dangerous on the fairways, and when putting.
Well done Bron, another big weekend.
