another big turnout...
my handicap had been moved out 15secs to 14:30 while SG went out to 15:00 so I wouldn't be chasing him until he caught up (which he duly did before the turn)...
started with Brett and Denis...Denis took off and soon had a good gap on Brett and me in the first 500m!...Brett drew steadily away after about 1k and finished about a minute in front of me...
caught up to Denis near Regatta Point but he put in a few sprints each time I passed him and he finished ahead of me by a couple of seconds...
Nadine gave us a cheer at the top of the finishing hill (not that I could respond, I was stuffed!)...
happy to go sub 23:00 for the second week in a row after last night's session...in fact my legs have had a heavy week for me so very pleased with the result...

I'm going to the Brumbies tonight - Tim was given tickets to the Canberra Milk corporate box so I am going as his guest (how cool is that?!)...
tomorrow I have golf - it's the monthly medal which has been brought forward due to the ANZAC Day long weekend...then, depending on what time we finish, I might go watch Jodie umpire at ADFA (Div 3 ADFA v Ainslie)...they are drastically short on AFL field umpires this year so Jodie will have to work with a club umpire...
Sunday - nothing planned except perhaps attending a geocaching event in Deakin...
