due to a number of commitments I had to my long run a day early and early...as in 5:05am start early!!
that meant I had to wear a headlamp for the first 2 hours (only needed it for the first 70mins or so) when I could hand it over to Jodie who came out to meet me and keep me company for the last hour on my bike...I basically did three loops around Amaroo/Forde...
in the end I didn't quite do 3hrs...I'm really struggling for the 3rd hour so headed home to finish just short...

then it was a quick drink and change for golf...scored 32pts which is not bad considering I haven't played for two weeks...
then it was off to baseball where we (the Black Bears) beat the White Bears 24-3...they were a player short but were higher than us on the ladder...I played outfield - got one touch on the ball which was a catch...Jodie took a screamer at short stop to finish the game...two more round matches left before finals...

Good pace for a long run like that. It's better to run it faster than push for the 3 hours and drop the pace to over 7. Trust me on that.
