Welcome to 2010

yesterday we all (including Hux) cached for about 10hrs....I was up at midnight (not intentionally, doing cricket stuff) and saw in the New Year...

up early this morning (5:50am!) to get in my run before heading off to The Mint to help Tim & Sheona with people waiting to get the new $1 coin...

the stats:
start temp/humidity: 19.4/66%
start time: 6:03am
total distance: 10.63
total time: 1:00:00
avg pace: 5:39
total calories: 510
avg HR*: 142

*Time spent in HR Zones:
00:19 [Z1: 93-111]
02:09 [Z2: 111-130]
49:01 [Z3: 130-148]
09:02 [Z4: 148-167]
00:00 [Z5: 167-185]

there was one guy there from 4pm yesterday (plus he was from Melbourne) and there was about 25 people when I got there at 7:50am...Sheona was outside taking orders, submitting them via the walkie talkie to me, I'd enter them into the register, print out the dockets for Tim and he would deliver the orders with receipts back to Sheona...the Mint opened on the dot of 10am with more than 100 people waiting...

I got three of the new coins (no queue jumping) - I joined the queue at 11:15am and had to wait about 15mins!...left them to it at about 11:40am...

near home I passed Jodie heading out for her hill session so I jumped on my bike and headed out to see how she was going...Suze was also walking/swimming Hux in one of the Forde ponds so we all walked/rode back home together..

later today we'll be heading out for 9 holes of golf at Belconnen...

With all you do, you nearly need an event manager to make sure you get to do all that you do.

OK Friar, sounds like you've volunteered. Fancy a trip to the glass and a half marathon, or possibly the glass and a half half marathon?

So Tim's only charging $1 for a cappuccino at the Mint? That's good value! Keep the PBs rolling AR - and the list of who turns up for training. That comes in handy ;)
