a hard session in the heat...I don't know how those crazy ones (you know who you are!) could do 8k first!
warm up: 2.32k (jog to Rose Garden + loop to stairs + jog to Rose Garden)
~480m loop - 50m jog up the ramps, 200m hard, 230m jog along the paths back to start, repeated for 30mins...I managed to start my 13th reps when the whistle blew...
effort times: 45, 47, 46, 49, 49, 50, 50, 48, 49, 48, 49, 52, 48
warm down: 1.57k (loop back to stairs)
total 10.36k in 70:14...starting temp/humidity: 32.4/23% ("apparent temp": 31.0)...avg HR: 148

For the record: It was cool at 5:30pm compared with 4:30pm.
I hope you didn't miss anyone too! Enough for a good game of cricket on the lawn in front of PH instead of that torture.
It was crazy yesterday, with Speedychief and Clairie setting a cracking near 5 minute per km warm-up pace (which I avoided).
