more for finishing than placing!...conditions were much cooler than last week (12 v about 30!) and also much windier - I was nearly tempted to keep my beanie on!
1500m - we were the 4th heat so starting at 7:23pm...
W35 (2 entered) - Nadine T (1st), me (2nd - 6:07.87; 7th out of 12 in heat)...Jackie F (W40) was the runaway (pardon the pun) winner...
400m - we were the 3rd heat starting at about 7:40pm or so
W35 (3 entered) - Lyn S (NSW) (1st), Rachelle E-B (2nd), me (3rd - 1:15.24; 6th & last in heat overall)...Jackie F and Sarah F (both W40) were in this heat and despite both having the 1500m, I couldn't catch them either!...Sue B rounded out the heat (W45)...
I have a break until my remaining Championship events - 10000m (26 Feb) & 5000m (12 Mar) (Rachelle beat me last year but I'm keen to turn the tables so it should be an interesting race!)
