rode to work this morning...
tonight's session was a different one:
attendees: SG, Ewen, Mick H, Ken, Katie, Cathy (late), Mick C, Yili (new guy), Gary, Helen, Ruth, Rachelle, Amanda, Alan & me...
warm up: lap (1.75k)
5 teams of 3, roughly grouped according to speed - Ken/Mick H/Gary, Katie/Amanda/Helen, me/Cathy/Rachelle, Alan/Mick C/Illy, SG/Ruth/Ewen...in relays, using the top grass area, the effort was the diagonal downhill and then uphill to the changeover...8 repeats of that each...recovery involved jogging the side while the others ran...managed to finish my 8th effort before the first team had completed all of theirs...
my rough effort times: 60sec, 57sec, 64sec, 65sec, 64sec, 60sec, 64sec, 59sec...time between efforts was 2:01-2:08...
warm down: lap (1.82k)
8.05k all up...starting temp/humidity: 23.1/24%...very windy too!
then I had to ride home - 18.6k, 56:02, avg HR 126...
phew!

The ride home would have been tiring! I could barely make it down the stairs to the car!
