looks like a PB in the 5 Lap Spiral for me - 9:08 - although we missed our start time (we weren't the only ones) so that time might be recorded as 9:14 or so...edit: officially 9:12, still a PB...
then made up a W35 team in the 4 x 1500m relay with Rachelle (1st), Nadine (3rd) and Katie (4th)...I was the slowest with 6:20 or so but the team still managed to run an Australian record - how bizarre!...the old record was 25:01.1 and we combined for 23:56ish...imagine if they had a better runner than me?!
(L to R): Katie, Nadine, Amanda (manager/lap counter!), Rachelle & me!
photo supplied by SGlast event was the 2000m Turkey handicap (although no turkey was up for grabs - a pair of movie tickets was available instead)...I wrote down 8:47 but crossed the line in 9:05

Not bizarre - that's talent!
I wonder if there are any movies about turkeys on offer?
Australian Records are worth getting
You get your certificate, and your name in the record books for a loong time.
And a presentation of the certificate.
So reflect in the glory.
Well done! That certificate should be going straight to the pool room.
