competed in 2 events tonight:
the mile (6:49.59, official) - first time i've run this one so an automatic PB...as usual started too hard, lead the way over the first 2 laps or so before being overtaken by 5...
splits: 1:36, 1:45, 1:47, 1:41
3000m (13:43.68, official) - aimed to try and run this one more consistently...finished 20th...
splits: 0:54, 1:49, 1:51, 1:51, 1:51, 1:54, 1:54, 1:36

Well done on the PB. That pattern isn't unusual in a 1500 or mile, but maybe a 1:40-1:41 first lap would have been ideal.
