was where we ended up for our end of season trip...
we stayed at the Sport & Recreation Centre...we had a whole "house" to ourselves (22 people, 8 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, instant hot water!)...
there were plenty of games & activities and a great time was had by all!
***************
this morning I ran in the Sri Chinmoy 10k - I'd run the event once before (49:49) and am happy to report a PB (49:03 - the official results have me as 49:07 but I pipped Nigel Stewart on the line and he was correctly given 49:03 so I think they must have misread their notes!)...
the stats:
start temp/humidity: 12.8/65%
start time: 9:02am
total distance: 10:09
total time: 49:03 (12th female/61, 50th overall/140)
avg pace: 4:52
total calories: 795
avg HR*: 176
*Time spent in HR Zones:
00:02 [Z1: 93-111]
00:01 [Z2: 111-130]
00:01 [Z3: 130-148]
13:09 [Z4: 148-167]
29:39 [Z5: 167-185]
1k splits: 4:50, 4:53, 4:54, 4:51, 4:43, 4:49, 5:02, 5:10, 4:54, 4:33, (0:17)
pretty happy with that effort as it's a bit tougher than the CT Fun Run and it was a little windy...this included a wardrobe malfunction at about 1.5k when my number belt strap came apart from the clip (managed to fix it on the run though!)
spent the afternoon caching all around Canberra...

Congrats on the SC PB. I reckon that course is about a minute slower than a flat 10k.
