Saturday
arrived in Sydney just before 11am
made our way from Central to Circular Quay on foot - the "expo" was a schmozzle but we got our numbers and chips...
did some caching (7), some shopping (The Rocks Markets) and had a late lunch as well as checking into the hotel...
watched the footy before going to bed...
Sunday
up at 5:35am...love staying close to the start...chatted with CR royalty at the start - LuckyLegs!...a quick hello with sfgnome as well...
it was really warm out there so I was pleased with my time given I haven't done much long running...this was a course PB, 1:21 quicker than last year...

missed the following k markers: 10, 13, 19, 20, 21 (I'm not entirely sure they were there)....I'm not sure the 2nd & 4th markers were in the right spot as my pace did not fluctuate that much!
appreciated the work of the CR cheersquad as usual...
managed to spot Jodie twice in her run - she was a bit disappointed with her time (55:50) but she hasn't been doing much running either....
cheered Jackie F (she finished 3rd in the marathon)...
ferry back to the hotel, shower and change then off to the city to visit Jodie's favourite chocolate shop - "Haigh's" - and a spot of lunch...
back in Canberra just after 3:30pm...

Well done AR. Always good to have a course PB. As you said, not a lot of long running in the preparation which would account for the slower splits in the second half. Not too bad though!
