that's what the session is called in my Garmin after I programmed it last night...

boy, am I feeling my little used muscles today after yesterday's Meteors' session...push ups are responsible for my sore pecs & lats while the squats & lunges are responsible for my sore quads & adductors!

was a little late meeting Jodie at Parly House as I was watching the women's 200m butterfly final...1,2 to China with Jess Schipper taking bronze...

now to the session (done at lunch due to focus on finals footy)...we ran around the bottom grassy square...

starting temp/humidity: 9.0/51% (and very windy!)

attendees: me (with whistle!), Jodie

session: 45secs hard on 2mins x 12 (so 45secs hard / 75secs easy)

warm up: 3k/15:25

my rough effort distances (in metres): 188, 179, 175, 170, 166, 174, 176, 164, 168, 168, 168, 157

warm down: 3k/17:07

total: 10.7k in 56:32 (running time only recorded)

my job was to blow the whistle so Jodie knew when to change (I think she only missed done and then got me to wave my arm as an extra aid)...all done easily with the guidance of the Garmin (the countdown beep to each change meant I didn't have to look at it at all)...

I will be looking for the report on the "real" speedygeese session to see what we might do next week...

had a nother late night with the Olympics result entry and am rostered on for another 4 nights at the stage (tonight, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday)

I figured the real speedygeese needed more leg speed work but should do a session more like yours on Friday as well...... Think I will do the same next week again. The 20x100, straights and bends, was quite enjoyable compared with 45 secs intervals!
