it was 5 v 6 in the footy...Belconnen beat us by 19 points last time but we were short a player then...today we had a full team AND bench for the first time...

we lead at every change until the last minute of the game when they kicked a goal to level the scores...we were in our 50m when the siren went...4.5 (29) apiece...

strangely enough it felt like a loss after leading for so long...

I stayed and watched our boys play - the 2s (Div 4 Canberra District) beat Harman by 102 pts while our 1s (Div 3 Canberra District) went down to Belconnen by 17 pts...

last night was the High Flyers dinner for the club, held at Thoroughbred Park so we all dressed up a little...

this morning was the Canada Fun Run 10k...no entry fee as such just a donation to raise money for the Cancer Council...

I think the pointy end of the field was a little depleted due to yesterday's Cross Country Champs...Scotty McTaggert won by a long way...

Katie, Ken and Amanda ran in the 5k...Tony O, Simon C, James S, Jim W, Mick H, David B were amongst the many I saw in the reasonably big field...saw several CRs - MissZ, Jen_runs, Mango, aaron (a new CR who didn't figure out until much later that the Go CR calls were for him!)...i chatted to MissZ afterwards (she finished 6th)...

the conditions were great and I managed to finish 14th female in a time of 45:14 - my second fastest 10k ever...passed 4 females inside the last 2k...
