another hot session with a much bigger flock...

warmed up with our usual laps (1.83k & 1.27k)...

we did the 40sec on/80sec off x 3 x 4 sets with about 2:20 between each set...we used the lower grassy area and worked in the reverse direction to usual (so clockwise)...

set 1 (effort distances): 188m, 177m, 193m
set 2: 191m, 174m, 187m
set 3: 177m, 186m, 187m
set 4: 204m, 176m, 170m

set 1 was across & down, set 2: down & across, set 3: across & up, set 4: up & across...

warmed down by running to the lake, contemplating a swim and then running back...(0.90k & 1.28k)....all up 10.20k, 80:59...avg/max HR: 135/171....starting temp/humidity: 29.3/19%...

at the finish the Damascus College Energy Breakthough Team were there with their human powered vehicle/hybrid (the Illumenator) for the "Rode Rage: Ride against Greenhouse Emissions"....they'd left from the Sydney Opera House at 11am this morning...they'd arrived in Canberra just after 6pm to meet Peter Garrett and were getting ready to leave for the trip back to Ballarat, aiming to be back by 11am-12pm tomorrow...
