there were waves on the lake again due to the windy weather...the average wind speed during my run was 16kts with gusts up to 27kts...running on the edge of the lake saw waves splash over my legs on a couple of occasions...
the stats:
start temp/humidity: 13.7/65%
start time: 12:46pm
total distance: 9.43k
total time: 50:00
avg pace: 5:19 !! 1k split range 5:08-5:28
total calories: 813
avg HR: 154
finish temp/humidity: 14.4/62%
this was meant to be an "easy" run (around 5:35 pace) so i was surprised to see my actual average pace as the run felt really cruisey all the way even when running into the wind...

for Cirque here are my Health Assessment results (i don't work at the Sports Commission, i work in Transport & Regional Services, specifically International Aviation):
Height: 1.78m
Weight: 75.5kg (fully dressed except for shoes)
BMI: 24 (normal weight range)
body fat%*: 32.5% ("obese" rating - above 32% for women - according to the Workplace Wellness Service booklet; it didn't bother me but i had to laugh when the tester seemed a bit flustered by that, she said i looked ok!)
Blood pressure: 130/85 (ok although i would have expected a little lower, perhaps the tester was still contemplating the "obese" result!)
non-fasting glucose: 2.0mmol/L (normal)
cholesterol: 2.0mmol/L (normal)
* the body fat % was "devined" by one of those magic Tanita scales..."Tanita's patented "foot pad" design sends a low, safe electrical current through the body to measure its composition. The electrical current passes more easily through lean muscle than fat. Body composition is calculated mathematically, based upon the speed at which the signal passes through the body."...i'm more a fan of the caliper skinfolds method and comparing over time...
Jodie's decided i must have obese feet...

i may be able to report on the 305 tomorrow if Suze can get to the PO today...i'm like a little kid about it!!

That Body Fat assessment is enough for me to be convinced that the Tanita method doesn't work - not on you anyway!
No matter how accurate the BMI may be, this is certainly due to the great muscle mass, with you only having minimal body fat! Not scientific enough methinks!
Of course, your feet might be v.e.r.y. chubby . . .
It was a tad windy today AR. My 75kg is due to heavy bones.
