spent a fun weekend in Narooma playing golf and fitting in early morning runs…
left Canberra at about 6.45pm Friday night after picking up a fellow golfer and arrived in Narooma just after 10pm after stopping for dinner at Batemans Bay (pizza!)…met up with the others and played cards for an hour or so…
up early saturday morning (6.25am) to fit in an easy run before teeing off just after 8…
the stats:
start time: 6:35am
total distance: 7.03k

found this run to be a hard workout as the area was quite hilly by comparison to my normal runs...meant Sunday's 10k TT would be challenge…
first time playing golf at Narooma and struggled a bit due to not knowing the layout of the course and being a bit wayward off the tee (stableford 24pts – to your handicap would have been 33pts)...mind you most struggled as well as they were only a couple of really good scores in…
had a couple of beers back at the units before we (there were 9 of us but only 5 from my club) headed into the RSL for dinner…a good night was had by all…
up early again Sunday morning (6.30am)…not the fastest 10k TT but a really good workout…I'll upload the elevation graphs when I can [added!]…
the stats:
start time: 6:54am
total distance: 10.00k
total time: 53:54
avg pace: 5:23
total calories: 750
avg HR: 149
packed up everything into the car before heading back to the course…played considerably better (95, nett 80) and managed to pick up a ball…hung around for the presentations which didn't finish until 4pm and then made it home by 7.30pm…
gave myself a lie in this morning but still into work by 9am…
