i'm approaching the halfway point of my half marathon schedule...yesterday was the start of week 7 (of 14) for the Canberra Half on Sunday 14 May...
This week's schedule:
Monday - rest (!)
Tuesday - Black Mountain Run Up instead of 8x500m/1minSR
Wednesday - easy 60min
Thursday - intervals: 5x1k/90secsSR
Friday - Customs
Saturday - easy 40mins + umpiring (?)
Sunday - easy 100mins + umpiring (?)
did a spot of geocaching on Mt Majura yesterday with Suze, Jodie and Huxley...we made our way up and down, covering 5.68k in just over two hours...
covered more ground than we needed to but it was pretty steep in places...i'm sure we were following part of the twin peaks route as there were white arrows at regular intervals...scored myself a nice blister on my right heel but nothing a load of bandaids and vaseline won't fix!
