as the title suggests, last week was the first time i have topped 50k (51.3) in a week...this doesn't include orienteering...the most i had done previously was 41.67k and that covered the Sydney HM in September last year...
Saturday
did my scheduled "easy 80mins" early before heading out to umpire all day at Majura Oval...
the stats:
start time: 7:28am
total distance: 13.81
total time: 1:20:01
ave pace: 5:47 1k split range 5:23-6:23
total calories: 1329
avg HR: 149
was aiming for around 5:40 pace but i was returning to my long run route of last year which includes a few hills...
umpiring was fun...this is the last round match of the season and the two teams involved are likely to play each other again in the semis...
Sunday
found a couple of geocaches on the way to my cricket match...unfortunately we couldn't maintain our winning momentum and lost by 8 wickets, this means we are back in the wooden spoon position...next week is our last match of the season as we host the ladder leaders...
and so to this week, today is the start of week 5 (of 14) for the Canberra Half on Sunday 14 May...
This week's schedule:
Monday - rest (!)
Tuesday - intervals: 8x500m/1minSR
Wednesday - easy 60min + orienteering
Thursday - intervals: 3x3k@10k pace/90secs SR
Friday - easy 40mins + Customs
Saturday - easy 90min + umpiring
Sunday - cricket
