Twilight Series #8

having missed the last twilight event before Christmas due to umpiring, i was keen to get back into it...

last night's event was run through Commonwealth Park, starting and finishing near the Regatta Point picnic shelter...

this was a sprint event - only 1 orange & 1 green course...the orange course was 3.4k and i did it in 23:02 (6:47 pace) while jodie took 27:46 (8:10 pace)...no real need to use a compass as we were both very familiar with the area...

afterwards we attempted to locate a geocache on Black Mountain (no success but i'm pretty sure we were in the right spot) and one in Amaroo (second one placed by Suze - no success until we went back a second time armed with the hint that i forgot to take the first time)...

today, probably intervals at lunch then a spot of cricket training after work with my two supersubs who are playing again this week as well as another fill in...
