parkrun #132; foursomes...

it was cool and still Saturday for parkrun...I focused on running with a neutral spine...

73rd out of 290...62.71%...14th female out of 139 (2 unknowns ahead of me)...1st W45-49 out of 21...

golf was the first round of the foursomes...four holes cost us as we finished with 96 (30 putts)...this put us five shots off the pace...

I then headed to the Sullivans Creek bike barometer to have my bike fitted with a "passing distance measuring device" as I am one of 20 cyclists taking part in a study over the next 4 weeks to track how closely vehicles are travelling to cyclists. The study is being run by Adelaide University's Centre for Automotive Research - the ACT government has provided about $57000 in funding...

the device consists of two ultrasonic sensors that connects with a box that contains a microcontroller, GPS receiver and battery...I just have to turn it on and off as per the other devices on my bike!

from there I went to the indoor cricket centre at Kambah to watch Tammie and Jodie play in a big win...

the second round of the foursomes was played today...we had at least four bad holes again and our putting wasn't as good as we had 4 3-putts...we ended up with 95 (35 putts)...10 shots behind the gross winners...
