yesterday's parkrun saw an even bigger field than last week's 310 with 341...
it was quite windy by the time we got going so I was a little slower than last week...
the stats:
start temp/humidity: 13.1/61% (apparent temp 11.7)

43rd out of 341, age 71.58%...5th female out of 158...1st W45-49 out of 25...3 unknown males ahead of me...
then it was home for a quick shower and breakfast before the drive to the SCG, picking up a former NSW and Australian teammate at Clifton Suites (she is here as assistant coach of the NSW Metro Under 18s)...
the WBBL match saw the Sixers win their 7th match in a row to stay in the hunt for the finals by defeating the ladder-leading Thunder...
the players then joined the past players in the SCG Club function room where five players were presented with a "Baggy Blue"...over the past few years Cricket NSW (which covers both men's and women's cricket) has been recognising all female players that have represented NSW at senior level with the presentation of a "Baggy Blue"...I was one of the five - the others were:
- Marie Cornish (nee Lutschini) - also a former Australian player
- Sally Griffiths - also a former Australian player
- Lisa Floyd
- Charlotte Anneveld
afterwards we watched the BBL match with the Thunder winning by 46...
it was a late trip home, especially after it took nearly three-quarters of an hour to get out of the parking in the Entertainment Quarter!...I dropped Gozzie off just before 1:30am and I was home by 1:45am...
today I headed out a little later for my run although the temperature was just about perfect...this was an extension of last week's run...
the stats:
start temp/humidity: 16.9/53% (apparent temp same)

afterwards Jodie came over and we (including squiggle on bike) all took the dogs for a walk - longer than our normal walk but not as long as the long walk!
