warm conditions with a bit of a headwind in the back straight just for something different (not)...
two events:
6:02pm - 3000m, not many runners tonight due to the 10000m being the last event of the night....8 starters I think with 6 finishers...
tucked in behind Craig early but lost touch after about two laps...as a sign of how ordinary my racing is, I got out sprinted in the end by Scott!
13:41.08 (5th)
1k splits: 4:28, 4:44, 4:30
lap splits: 0:51, 1:48, 1:49, 1:53, 1:54, 1:53, 1:54, 1:40
7:11pm - 1500m, 2nd heat
stayed ahead of Craig until the last 70m when once again I was out sprinted...
6:30.42 (9th)
lap splits: 1:41, 1:50, 1:49, 1:12
I don't envy the 10000m runners, it would still have been warm & humid for them...

For the first time I remember I didn't notice the humidity in the 10k. Yet others commented on how humid it was. So I suppose the secret is to do long training runs when it is humid, and hope to adapt.
