Tim sent me a text not long after he finished his run to let me know how he went...I can't believe he ran with a 10kg backpack on and broke 1:40!

Yes, Geoff said he'd never heard of females filling the first two places in a race. Also he was catching Tim at a huge rate of knots - Tim needed another kg in the pack!
