well, that's what it felt like...average speed of wind was just over 40kph, while there were gusts over 60kph!
managed my slowest time since mid-November last year...in fact it was the same time although on the standard course as opposed to the "Floriade" course...
I'm not sure how many were there as a bunch (including Tony O and James S) seemed to have started early...Gordon, Simon, Ian, Gary and Leslie all passed me while I passed Gabrielle...

tomorrow I'm playing golf before we pick up Jodie (she's umpiring at ANU) on the way to their airport...
Tim & Sheona fly in at midday tomorrow - Tim has to pick up his number from the Hyde Park Barracks...mum & dad are driving up tomorrow morning...we are all staying in the same hotel not too far from the start...
our usual pre-C2S dinner will be had at Fujiya (Japanese Teppanyaki)...I think this will be the 4th or 5th year we've gone there...downstairs for Baskin & Robbins dessert!
I'm aiming for under 70mins, hopefully under 69mins...I think Jodie's aiming somewhere between 90-100mins...
