Being sensible

is not really what I am about BUT I didn't run today...I was silly enough to do the hill sprints last night and paid for it today...

the last two mornings I have walked Hux for just over an hour so maybe I'll do that again tomorrow and do an easy run at lunch...

John H, commenting on my Facebook status, asked "Why did you do hill sprints with sore legs? You are exacerbating the normal temporary muscle fibre damage you get from the big downhill run when you are not used to it. The good news is that if you can lay off the speedwork for a week until the soreness goes away, the adaptation will make your legs much stronger and resilient to undulating runs."

Nothing like being pointed out as a goose (but I do like that last sentence!)...
