had another solid all-round match but we still went down by 29 runs (all out for 188 chasing 9/217)...

Monday

no gym this week so a nice rest day was had...we were meant to have a net/fielding session after work but thanks to the rain we weren't allowed into the nets and only got a little bit of fielding done...

had a meeting after our brief fielding to discuss our approach to next week...

we have one more training session Wednesday where Carrie Graf* will be speaking to us for about 20mins in the middle of the session...

* Carrie has an almost unparalleled record in the WNBL having won five Championships as a player and five as a Head Coach (Sydney Flames - 1993 and Canberra Capitals – 1999/00, 2001/02, 2005/06, 2006/07)… AIS Scholarship Coach in 1991 and graduated to Sydney Flames Head Coach after just one year as an assistant at Melbourne Tigers (NBL)…six years as Opals Assistant Coach including Australia’s first senior national medal at the Atlanta Olympics (bronze) and 2000 Sydney Olympic Games (silver)… head coach of the New Zealand National Women’s basketball team in 2003/04… was the first Australian to coach in the WNBA (1998 Phoenix Assistant Coach)…. Today the plan is to do my usual 10k @ 5:30 pace at lunchtime...

Jodie picks up her borrowed MTB for Friday's adventure race tonight so we might go for a night ride in Goorooyaroo to test headlamps etc....
