haven't been for a run since the half (aside from warming up for the gym sessions) as I was a bit run down (pardon the pun)...had a scratchy throat followed by a runny nose (lovely) but am better now...

last night took the boy for a walk near Yerrabi Pond...

did gym this morning...9 attendees...strength session...

  • one arm rows with theraband (2 x 15 each arm)
  • leg adduction with theraband (2 x 15 each leg)
  • swiss ball crunches (2 x 15)
  • bench dips (2 x 15) / one leg bridge raise (2 x 10 each leg)
  • bench press (1 x 15 & 1 x 10 - to failure with this one)
  • lunges with twist (5kg med ball) (2 x 15 each leg)
  • DB reverse flys (2 x 15)
  • squats (2 x 15)
  • BB upright row (2 x 15)
attended the launch of the Home Loan Centre Women's Premiere Cricket League at Manuka Oval...new concept for ACT women's cricket...for the first 7 weeks of the season leading up to CA Cup, players are distributed evenly amongst 4 teams (each with their own sponsor - The Lord's Taverners, Great Impressions, QuickLink and the Home Loan Centre) and a one day competition is played...should be much more competitive than having 1-2 teams dominate as per club cricket...there won't be any easy games and all players should find that they improve...

prior to the launch I did an interview with Tim Gavel on ABC radio then was interviewed by ABC TV and the Canberra Times...also participated in another interview with WIN with two other players (our Shooting Stars Australian U21 squad members Bec Maher and Jess Moyes)...
did some cache maintenance for Suze then picked up my replacement driver from Pete's Golf Connection before returning to work...

the good news is we now have a 20 seater bus for the trip to Gunnedah so I won't have to drive!!

That's a good photo. Looks like you've broken away from the pack.

Sounds like a good concept for the cricket.
