man it was windy & dusty out there for the orienteering...

Jodie & I ran the course together again, doing the Orange 1 which was posted as 6.5k with 12 controls...

certainly felt hotter than the stated temperature, probably because it was really dry...

lots of kangaroos & wallabies out there...two of whom collided in their attempts to get away from me after they popped up from a watercourse, quite funny actually (but i guess you had to be there)...the course started with a big hill climb up Gecko Hills followed by a descent into Euro Valley...then a short climb to Old Joe's Hill, another downhill into Euro Valley before a final partial climb of Black Stump Hill...



Trevor "Gramps" Jacobs took 38mins while national junior champ Simon Uppill took about 33:30...wow!!

this morning it was much cooler for the ride into work, actually quite overcast but i doubt we'll get any rain...today's predicted top is 29...
