Way too s l o w...

last night we had our first outdoor net session...my left calf started playing up when i was batting and then i started getting cramps in the arch of my left...settled down later but still quite disconcerting...we had two guest coaches in the form of Mark Sorell (coach of the Southern Stars) & Cathryn Fitzpatrick (scholarship coach at the Cricket Centre for Excellence in Brisbane & Australia's premier fast bowler)...

then this morning we had our fitness session - was quite an easy one with just the normal warm up run (just under 2k) & then some short running drills which involved working in pairs with cricket balls...finished with 15mins of stretching...this time my right achilles/ankle was quite stiff...

it was all i could do to keep moving forward today - wind was around 23-26kts with gusts up to 34!....my right ankle/achilles was still stiff but didn't hurt as such but didn't seem to free up either...

jodie on the other hand, after an absence of a couple of weeks, managed 29:55, an excellent run under the conditions...

- drop mum & dad off at the Jolimont Centre for their Sydney weekend away (shopping, The Boy from Oz, shopping)
- golf
- run (?)

- accompany jodie while she does her run with Hux
- trial match v ACT u15 boys @ Majura (11am start)*
*we are playing under the NSW Country Champs conditions so as to prepare for Albury/Wodonga on the long weekend so 33 overs per side, max 7 overs per bowler, 115mins per innings
