parkrun #189...

Tammie gave me a lift back to my car after work so I could get to training on time...

yesterday was the usual walk the boys, walk to & from work to/from the yacht club...warm and windy for FkF and quite hazy...

today I was back at Tuggeranong for parkrun for the first time since 19 October...

legs were heavy from cricket still so it was just a steady run...

cricket was at Kaleen against Workers Redbacks...we were down a few regulars so it was always going to be a challenge...

I won the toss and batted first, opening with Jodie...unfortunately we only put on 13 for the first wicket with Jodie getting herself out caught at backward point for 3...I got myself out a couple of overs before drinks, cutting straight to point for 22...at drinks we were 2/50 off 23...

in the end we ended up with 8/137 with Wendell remaining unbeaten on 59 having put on 58 for the 9th wicket with our #10 who made 2*...

they got off to a flyer, taking 24 off the first three overs before Cam our other opening bowler picked up the big hitter for 23 caught at short third...he picked up a second bowling their #3 for a duck two overs later...2/32...

we didn't pick up the third wicket until two overs before drinks...3/94...at drinks they were 3/99...

I swapped into keeper and we picked up two more wickets - caught skied to midwicket and another caught at deep midwicket - before they got the runs in the 32nd over...
