it felt like I was running comfortably as I tried to reel in those that started ahead of me...it seemed like a small field as the first runner to pass me passed me just before the Hindmarsh Dr underpass...I kept waiting for more to pass me but there was only one more just before heading through the gate off the hill...

I finished 5th with the clock time on 49:35 which was good enough to see me secure my second win in a nett time that was only 1:16 slower than my first win...hopefully I won't do what I did after my last win!
it was until I finished that I notice blood on my shin from a stick bite...only a little nick with my blinding speed spreading the blood to make it look worse...
so next week I get to hold the clock and the following week I expect my handicap to be about 1:45 harder (17:15)...
