parkrun #72, golf, Tour de Ridges...

Friday was a rest day aside from walking the boys before work...I had ordered a Garmin Forerunner 230 Thursday mid-afternoon and it arrived in my parcel locker just after 10:30am...straight on to the charger it went...

missed FkF as we had our Branch Christmas lunch at the Mint Bar - Sage at Gorman House...lucky I had my poncho and umbrella hat as I walked there and back... we were in the beer garden under big umbrellas which meant things were pretty wet anyway...

had an early mark (4pm) from work and found a cache near the Segway Glide kiosk before doing the grocery shopping at Majura Park...

yesterday it was warm and humid for parkrun...plus there was a headwind to the to turn and to the finish...

played my first round of golf (stableford) in 3 weeks...although sunny and warm it was quite windy and we even had a downpour when we were on the 14th green/15th tee...finished with 33pts, 2 behind the winner, but at least I won NTP (71cm) on the 2nd (which I did birdie)...

found two caches on the way to Jodie and Lisa's in Melba...I stayed for dinner while we watched the cricket...

this morning I was volunteering at John Harding's Tour de Ridges...I was acting as manual recorder of the finishers as back up to the electronic system being used this year...I ran to and from Mawson playing fields...did run past a brown snake on Mt Taylor on the way back...

The TE is an interesting stat. Not quite sure how to use it though. I thought you were not quite going as well as the previous week going by where we crossed. The headwind/humidity was definitely a negative in the last k.

I need to do a few more runs to get a reliable TE figure...here's a link to more info...

i think next Saturday's run will have interesting stats seeing as I'll be wearing a santa suit!

Thanks. LOL - don't let Jimmy beat you in his santa suit. BTW, your profile image link is broken my end.
