FkF #312...

up on time to walk Hodge this morning then bused into work...

still can't believe the poor performance witnessed last night...England may have bowled and fielded well but Australia batted poorly...

my first FkF since my trip on 29 April...the weather was pleasant if breezy on the edge of the lake...started off 10:30 with Lloyd and had to do three mid-race surges plus a sustained surge at the end to hold him off (hence the big drop in my recovery HR stat)...my fastest FkF since the run before "the accident"...for me FkF is 20-30secs harder than parkrun - if I'd ran like I did today last Saturday, I would have gone under 24:30...

the stats:
start temp/humidity: 9.6/69% (apparent temp 8.3)
start time: 12:25pm
total distance: 5.01
total time: 24:59
avg pace: 4:59
total calories: 353
avg HR: 156
recovery HR: 116/58

splits: 4:42, 5:02, 5:02, 5:04, 5:06, 0:01

now I take it easy until Sunday when I will run C2S #10...my first one was in 2003 due to the encouragement of Tim and on the back of one 60 minute run!

I then ran 8 consecutively until I had to skip the 2011 run due to footy injuries (ankle and shoulder) - my only DNS...I ran in 2012 (Cookie ran that year) and then missed the last two years due to footy...

this will be my last run in the red start (as a result of my 2013 Capital 14k time) and probably my last C2S so I aim to enjoy it although, of course, I do have some goals...

Goal A is sub 80, Goal B is sub 85:32 (my 2003 time) and Goal C is sub 86:00 (Jodie's only time, run in 2009)!

My PB is 68:25 in 2009 and my worst time was my first (understandably due to the complete lack of preparation!)...my average time is 75:29 (based on my watch times 2003-2007 as timing chips weren't used until 2008 then the timing chip/tag times)...
